Taught by Carrie, is the original Vinyasa (flow) class. Practice offers the same sequences practiced by Ashtanga students throughout the world, beginning with centering and Sun Salutations A and B.

BOSU BODY SCULPT
Challenging, appropriate for intermediate to advanced levels
Taught by Rebecca, is an intense workout preformed with 30 minutes of cardio on the Bosu. Rhythmic movements increase heart rate and add elements of fun, stabilization, balance challenge and specific transfer to daily movement needs. Challenging abdominal and back work is also done on the Bosu. Free weights are used to strengthen and tone the arms and upper body.

Taught by Aisling, Deb and Jess, improves mental and physical well-being. It increases flexibility and circulation. It sculpts the body and strengthens the core muscles, your “powerhouse”. Through consistent practice, you will achieve better alignment, improve muscle tone and strengthen and lengthen your entire body. It is easy on joints and is appropriate for all levels of participation.

STRONG WOMEN

Live well, taught by Kathie, is a class for women and men, using free weights and other tools to recreate muscle and bone tissue lost due to the aging process. Age “optimally” not typically, as suggested by the research done by Dr. Miriam Nelson at Tufts University. Strengthens 10 major muscles groups, increase heart health, increase bone density and strengthens functional core strength.
